Really lovely picture. He looks so sad here... wandering eternally by the sea. I suppose he'd be on the far coast of the Americas now. It's as close as he can get to the home he is forbidden to return to.

Either way, gorgeous piece. You have made him look perfectly Noldorin, with broad shoulders and a noble face (contrary to *cough*SOME*cough* artists who portray him almost as a girl). You can tell even without reading the Sil that he's been through little short of Hell, and that he is heavily burdened with awful deeds that he repents of but cannot erase from his past.

Lovely depiction of Maglor. I never thought about him playing a...lute? (Is this a lute?), but he might as well play many instruments:)
And I love the way you did the waves, they are beautiful.
The feeling of this scene is also unique; the sorrow he must feel for being alone in the world...:(
