It's always nice to see your drawings, since you don't do them as often. Your shading is beautiful! And I have to say that you draw trees wonderfully.. you could be the next Tolkien illustrator after Alan Lee :)
I have to find my "Children of Hurin" book now, because this has made me want to read it again!

That is absolutely wonderful! I love the shading, and the movement, the trees and his clothing. Really great!

Hmmm, very beautiful! And your skills with light and shadows make me really jealous.

So you must carry this light into the darkness
You shall be a star unto the night
You will find hope alive among the hopeless
That is your purpose to this life

Absolutely brilliant job. As the other have said, the style resembles Alan Lee's works (I admire his lotr-works). Beautiful in its own simplicity. Shadows are done well; in my opinion, heavier shadows wouldn't have fit this picture.

Ambiance is really 'magical', it's like he's walking in a dream or something (forest looks so clean and pure). you have captured the features of elven forest there, I think.

Long grass looks great, I have always thought grass to be one of the hardest things to draw. Especially, if you have to draw many layers.
